You miss the point - the point is to keep drawing, regardless! You know what I like about the whole thing? The subtle, rounded out shade at the corner of her mouth - it's that kind of thing that I never would have thought about before...
I keep thinking if I'm going to turn into Dave Cockrum. Remember when his art was so good in the beginning, and he thought his second run was better, but we looked at his second run on Uncanny and thought, ugh, what happened to his faces...? I wonder if I'm gonna turn into that? Yikes...
well so far you've gotten better, so you havent Cockrum-ed and hopefull you never will. i wonder if he rested on his laurels after reaching his peak and just got too comfortable that it became a bit sloppy
i think it looked better in black and white. Tiffany Jones fan.

ReplyDeletei was about to compare him to John Byrne, who was so great in the beginning but also got wierd later on.... i hope John Byrne's still alive
