I spent the past few days downloading and watching 17 episodes of the Japanese anime,
Claymore, a hyper-violent series about woman warriors who end up turning into the very demons they were created to fight. There was lots of swirling hair. This sketch isn't anime style, but the impression of the hair comes from it. I needed to draw something while I was chatting away on the telephone, so it's really just a doodle.
how's your back? (of course this has nothing to do with your drawing...) been praying for you!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's not that bad that I would need prayer (last rites? heh.) but thanks for asking - much better.
ReplyDeleteI was a 'hair model' many times( my best friend did hair for CK shoots) wait, that's not to say I was at any of the CK shoots, I was just a friend dragged to the dreaded 'hair shows/conventions'
ReplyDeleteWhat I mean to say, is that I never saw any "do" that looked like motion/anime. I think I'll try to convince her to do something much like your sketch at the next show.
I definitely won't be the model, but I'd love to see the finished product,
T unteased.
good! well, it wasnt a seriously-ill kinda prayer... just a please-heal-George-quick prayer. your drawing made you look like you were in excrutiating pain... it made you draw stick figures! that's serious!
ReplyDeleteLove you creative vision, would you be willing to do a business logo?
