My head hurts. The sinus pressure is maddening. I can't be sure if it's a sinus headache or if my over the counter medication has dried out my nasal passages too much, because I realized I'm breathing through my nose now, and it's a little
too clear. Ugh, this needs to be over.
horhe, natural breathing is through the nose and never through the mouth. your breath is too shallow, you won't get the benefit of a full inhalation if you breathe through your mouth.
ReplyDeletebreathe through your nose, imagine the breath going down your throat, past your chest and going all the way to your lower abs. as you're doing this diaphramic breath, your belly will naturalllly expand.
exhale by compressing your belly, pushing out the air through your nose, reversing the process.(like an infant in deep sleep)
i hope this will help you, try to maintain this deep diaphramic breath cycles for at least three minutes.

ReplyDeleteyes, oj is right... that breathing through the diaphragm is also good for everyday maintenance. i do it in 7-sec. intervals. 7 seconds - inhale, 7 seconds - hold your breath, 7 seconds - exhale through your mouth. its relaxing and gets your oxygen flow going. get well soon! praying for you...
