Blonde Locks

I love how switching my usual angle (I tend to draw people with their faces looking to the left) made me draw this completely differently than I normally would, and I particularly like the nose and mouth on this face.

  1. Almost takes on a gamin-ish look. More youthful and there's a slight innocence to it, as if this were a new street urchin.

  3. It's really easy, Oj - just select the color that you want for the texture, the go to the menu up left for Filter>Noise>Add Noise and adjust as necessary. Experiment and you'll see different results. make sure you have the color selected by itself, otherwise the whole thing will be noisy. Better yet, do it on its own layer.

And thanks for the lovely write-up, Oj - I'm so flattered! of course, you chose some of my most bastos pieces, hehe.
