Sometimes you don't want to plan you just want to draw. So I'm switching gears back to my portrait of my friend. There's something about just vegging out and drawing without thinking, because I don't have to compose or anything, just look, and paint what I see. Plus the more I do that I'm satisfied with, the more I do, the more I get a piece I'm excited to see finished. This one is looking really pop-painterly (kinda like those giant painted movie billboards we used to see lining the streets of Manila...
