I just saw DSquared2's new Spring 2025 campaign and i featured boys without pants (but with underwear). I decided to get inspired by that and take itfurther.

Just Whip It!

Palette Knife Profile

A new brush always affects my markmaking, and this one was fun for its very smooth strokes, but also a challenge to do teh smaller features. But not bad, I'd say.

3 Minute Duck Scene

I really didn't want to draw something so I pushed myself to make another 3 minute duck...but strangely, I went in for a seriously layout instead of a cartoony one. This one uses a new-to-me palette knife brush.

Just playing with teh Ruffin Brush and trying to create a new face, but I really don't like this one just yet,

Make The Switches

As part of my S&M layout for Nicholas, I'm drawing some of the switches and spanking devices that he designs and makes, as part of the layouts I have planned.But they're just too boring to draw so I'm delaying a lot on doing them.

Atrezzo-Ish

One of the newer mannequin companies, Atrezzo Mannequins out in Spain, puts out these very fashion-illustration-like poses that, ironically, inspired fashion illustrations. This is just the beginnings of a possible cqoquis.

Side Eyed Recline 2

Working on the face a little more, as well as the rest of the sketch. Still not convinced this is going to be a 'piece', but I'm sketching anyhow.

Incline Recline

I saw a photo of a guy leaning his chin on a his hands on a ledge, and I thought it could be a fun nude if I extended it by adding his naked body alongside it.

Side Eyed Recline

This is a standard pose for me now, mostly because I see it a lot in porn. But it's alluring...although I'm trying to get the guy's expression just so and this isn't quite it yet.

I had an idea of a sketch of your average hot naked man waking up with a cuppa and no clothes.

Always in demand, the pose of a man walking down a runway is most of what people think of fashion models doing.

I was not happy with the face I drew after leaving it for a while (I was super happy when I drew it but maybe because it'w as because I felt I had captured a mood and feel. He's a bit better.

I was watching a movie on Netflix, Widow Clicquot, about the wife of the heir to a winery that spawned the Veuve Clicquot champagne empire. I was so impressed with Tom Sturridge's costumes that i tried to draw something inspire by it in a modern fashion sense.

Just a quick start to a new sketch with model Nicholas, this time in a gimp mask on the pose I shot with another mask.

Last Model Drawing Class for Spring 25

My model canceled on me again but thankfully Nubia was ready and willing to step back in. The kids also really like her as she gets chatty with them while standing. I did a demo on the lace for a student, but I also just drew on my own in kraft paper, and with the white gown in particular, I think this might be one of my favorite drawings from these sessions.

Nicholas in Leather 9

I'm liking the new color background as well as the elimination of the floor conceit. And I'cvw retooled some of the imaginary bondage setup, while adding the background  marks to keep it in tat MCM illustration technique to coincide with the tie drawing previously. I think its coming together but will withold judgement on if it's done yet, haha

Gimp Mask

I don't think it's PC to call it that, but I don't know any other name for it. But the other day my model and I went shopping at his fave sex shop, and he tried on one of these masks. It was actually really hot when he wore it against his naked torso. And these masks really DO hide your identity! I couldn't recognize him, and I KNOW this guy's face!

Nicholas In Leather 8

I always knew I would be retooling all the details when the time came. And I know myself, these are going to get exceedingly specific and niggly the closer I get to posting. I did the body coloring in a watercolor technique bu I think I need to revert to my Ruffin brush to be consistent with the other sketches, particularly the hard-on one I started with.

Time to get back to this guy and finalize him for the triptych that is the tie, the head and the butt.  And this one makes more sense to me now with the welt marks on his ass, after Nicholas sent me actual photos of his backside after a sexytime session with his wife. Oh, the life I lead.

Of Helmets & Cock Cages

I went to a sex shop to browse possible outfit designs for my model Nicholas, and we had coffee nearby after to discuss the further adventures of Nicky Knight Time (or however that's spelled). In the process I was designing a cock cage as well as a proposed Knight's helmet for him and his logo. These were sketches I made on the spot, fingerpainting on my iPhone with Procreate Pocket.

Nick Head (Come Again?)

I had drawn some spit on Nick's face, since it's all about referencing S&M humiliation play and degradation, but I realized that the viscosity of it looked more like cum.While I welcomed the idea since it's also more provocative, I did erase and clean it up a bit to make it look more like spit.

Cockstrap

After I published my drawing of Nicholas with my self-designed leather accessories, people have been approaching me or him about where they came from, And now Nick wants to create them for actual wear, so I designed it out.

Nubia & Demo

I thought we had seen the last of her for the semester but we got Nubia back in today and she brought so much joy to my front row kids, who've been developing a rapport with her and her outfits! While she was resting between poses, I did a short demo that was requested by one of the students, to show how to render shine, whether Satin or Leather.

For some reason I had him in a dance strap. And with an injured wrist.

Another doodle that turned into a nice face. I was inspired to do this very contemporary haircut because my fellow teacher told me how much he hates it, haha. I focused on teh cut even if I originally drew this as a potential nude for an Instagram post, but we'll see how it evolves.

Fugu!

It is my friend Rainer's birthday on the 6ths, and he's in Japan celebrating, apparently with a gigantic lunch that included fugu sperm sac. Well, he survived both another year AND the lunch, so I sent him a text using the iPhone's "echo" feature (that allows a text or image to show up in your screen with an explosion of multiples) and surrounded him with multiples of this guy.

TJ Sunday

I went up to my friend Francisco's place to draw one of my favorite models, TJ, in a private session. I was able to get a good portrait of him (although I was hemming and hawing at the time) and he thought it looked like him so I offered it to him as a gift. I'm giving him the original now that I've scanned it.

Nick Head Done

I had a breakthrough when I decided to just bite the bullet and enlarge his photo and place it over my drawing, to see if i got the proportions right. I am always surprised how well I can get proportions by eyeing it, but it's never perfect. But I won't cheat by tracing. But the technique made me realize I made his nose too long so after comparing proportions, I turned off the layer and redrew from memory. I think it's a much better likeness now.

It's All Jake

I was inspired by my tutee's garments at the menswear grad presentation (Another professor asked me to help him with his digital illustrations, even if he wasn't my student) that I started drawing his look.

I decided to clean this one up even more to post for First Friday in my Facebook (yeah, I'm old) fashion illustration group.

Open Studio Sophie

In my model drawing class, it was open studio so I allowed my students to determine the illustration style and materials they would use for rendering a drawing. I didn't really do a demo but I did draw/paint while the model posed (although I got too enthusiastic and made her pose too long and she got woozy and had to sit).
