I just started watching a very noir anime series called Ergo Proxy, and I quite like the character design of the lead character Lil. I can't quite get her cool Japanese elan, with her limp, stylish hair and her blue eyeshadow, but I've only seen one ep so I guess I haven't gotten a feel for her yet.

I just started watching a very noir anime series called Ergo Proxy, and I quite like the character design of the lead character Lil. I can't quite get her cool Japanese elan, with her limp, stylish hair and her blue eyeshadow, but I've only seen one ep so I guess I haven't gotten a feel for her yet.

Her name is Re-al Mayer. I don't know where you got Lil from
I got 'Lil' from every English sub I ever watched of the 10 or so episodes I watched on Veoh, before deciding I was bored with it, no matter how nice it looked. From episode 1, her driver/companion, "Iggy" called her Lil. So I don't know where you got her 'real' name from since all the subs I watched called her "Lil." Maybe it's a phonetic Japanese translation.

The top translation calls her Real, the bottom one in English calls her Lil.
