i love it that the squid has his s arm up like the sloth! (since your brother called himself "slow to act", is the scuba gear supposed to make him faster? just wondering....)
Nah, the scuba gear is there because it's Marvin's hobby, which is what he he wanted the sloth mascot for. I think his diving pals gave him the rep for being slow. Maybe he spends too much time studying lazily swimming along while the rest are panicking away from a great white...!
I thought the sloth needed a friend.
