I think I've mentioned before that I never took formal anatomy classes. Now that I think of it, we had life-drawing sessions, but we never were told how to build up a human body from skeletal system on. I have regretted that in recent years, as I don't have the foundation for knowing why and how the body and face moves. So with this sketch, I tried to think of the skull underneath, and then trace the skin that would go over it. It's interesting, because the face is somewhat different from what I would normally draw. The act of drawing becomes more fun than the actual sketch itself...
