I wanted to do this very specific pose, with this very specific expression. I realized afterthe fact that it's a combination of several images that I have conflated in my head: two separate shots of former top gogo boy Mark Allen, sitting this way in one shot, grimacing with a boot on his head on the other; and of Madonna, I think, sitting similarly or at least leaning, with her hands in her armpits while smoking.
