So I got bored and pulled out the Phoenix drawing again. Just decided to trim and shade where I thought wasn't too involved. Slow progress. Sometimes I can finish a sketch in a few minutes or really detail it out in a few hours, but I'm obviously taking my time with this one.

Jean is a character i grew up on, and like i can never do her justice, but this is dope as hell, and i went through all your posts and like shit, your stuff is amazing
Thanks, Rex. I usually start my drawings in Painter (I have two versions on my Mac, plus one that I'm trying out to potentially buy), and then I usually paint colors in with Photoshop. Of course, using a Wacom pad - you'd never know it wasn't done with natural media sometimes.
And Chuchsass, I love Jean too - she was perhaps my favorite character when she became Phoenix. I loved drawing her all throughout my teen years. I guess I kinda still do.
