Critter Swarm, 5

This is turning into a memory device to see how many of my childhood critters I can recall and stuff into the picture. Two days' ago's entry is a hoplibird, birds that gestate too long in their eggs so they never lose the egg shape, and therefore have to hop to get anywhere.

Don't forget the Playing 'Possums - who would suddenly drop down from above (branches, rafters, etc.) reciting famous lines from the stage (usually Shakespeare)... an Elphaba Possum would be hilarious...
