Brushy

No reason whatsoever for this thing - I just thought I'd play. With the brushes, and, uhm, the subject matter.

Some of these techniques really didn't work well. So muddy. But I didn't have the wherewithal to fix it.

Hi, I got linked to your blog through PRGay and thought I'd stick around. I really love watching people experiment with their art. It's truly inspiring.

You're right that it's a little muddy on the bodice, but I love the psychedelic background, and the... er... experimental subject matter. :)

Now it's happened! You get mentioned by TLo and your a star in your own right.

I like the airbrushed feel of this, very "kill 'da wabbit!".

I LOVE the panda from yesterday.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, peeps!

I was never looking for a big audience, but feedback is always appreciated. This site is just a way for me to keep drawing, because as a working art director, you only have so much creative energy everyday, and too often I pour it into my day job and not my personal work. Having a "responsibility" to an audience - even if it's just one or two people - pushes me to make sure I have something to show for the resolution I made a year ago.

Halfway thru her aria, Mei Mei forgot if she had left money for her cleaning lady.

Ha!

Or how about this one:

"Brynja's high note had dislodged one of her molars, which at that moment threatened to tumble down her throat if she stopped singing."
