The Secret Life of Models: What You Didn't See

This is based on the Project:Runway episode asking them to make an avante garde couture outfit. I got the idea and started drawing it last night. I showed it to my friend Tom at Project:Rungay, and apparently he had the exact same idea coming up in a strip that Alex is doing for them. Haha, great minds think alike. Can't wait to see what Alex cooks up.

This focuses on contestants Christian and Chris March, or Team Fierce, as they called it...

My three year old was watching while I was reading this, and saying, "don't do that!" I laughed so hard, I was crying.

Followed the link from Project Rungay and just wanted to say, "Oh, thank you! I was starting to feel like Mugatu screaming at the audience over Zoolander and his "looks." The first thing I thought when I saw Team Fierce's outfit was that old commercial: I'm Chiquita Banana, and I'm here to say, a banana is something you should eat every day!

Hi! This is Marcia from Project Runway :) You must have been a fly on the wall because that is EXACTLY what I was thinking the entire time. My first couture moment caught on tape and immortalized in a comic strip. Genius. Thank you. xox Marcia

OHMIGOD!I LOVE the fact that you've posted here, Marcia! I'm so glad you liked the toon. If you email me from my profile link, I'd LOVE to give you a signed copy of the cartoon. this is why it's entitled "the Secret Life of Models" - everyone concentrates on the designers, but you gals don't get as much credit for bringing it to life. And I work in the industry, I know what it's like! Thanks so much for posting!!
