Like with some of the other sketches I've posted on this blog, this is a detail from a bigger piece that I don't want to reveal yet. In the process of cropping into the detail of the initial facial linework, I started playing with tools like the palette knife and got a bit more playful with the coloring. It's messy, but methinks in a good way.

Messy Bob
